Kate Brandt has owned dogs since the age of around five, when her parents gave her a puppy for her birthday. She has since had a deep interest in dogs and their behavior, especially following a tragic incident when a dog she knew (a neighbor's dog) was put down killed) for biting a child.
This inspired her dedication to teaching others how to live like friends with their dogs. She has since volunteered to help train dogs for others, friends and neighbors for years. This website is her way of extending the volunteer work. She retired from active dog training some years back.
